Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy. These are from a recent walk that we took on a nearby trail. Most of them didn’t turn out very well because I had the wrong ISO setting on my camera and it was a low light situation, but I came out with a few I liked.
Your dog phoenix is BEAUTIFUL!. I am sure you feel very confident when your with him out in public or any where. I do not own a doberman yet, but iI willsome day have one. After my mom is gone there is no way i will live by myself. They are wonderful dogs and I know they are very protective of there owner.
I live in Ohio and about 4 weeks ago someone broke into this families home and took there german shephard and ductaped his mouth and back legs and put him in the backyard to finish there breakin. Do you think they would of tried with a doberman? I dont think so. Please reply

Thanks for the complement. Yes, we do feel safe with Phoenix around. We usually get two reactions when other people meet him; they are either scared to death, or they absolutely love him! He is a very good natured and friendly dog, but you’d be foolish to walk in on his territory uninvited.
I wish you luck in finding a good Doberman, but I would caution you from getting one just for protection; make sure that you are ready for the commitment. Dobermans are VERY energetic dogs and need to be exercised regularly. We usually go for a couple of 1-2 mile runs during the week and a 5 mile bike ride on the weekends. Trips to the dog park are also a must.
They also crave human attention; they are nicknamed “velcro dogs” because they want to be touching you constantly. A Doberman is a great companion, and he doesn’t want to be ignored.
I would also recommend that you buy from a quality breeder, and not from the classified ads. A good breeder will spend the time and money necessary to provide you with a healthy dog with a good temperament.

I’m the owner of a Westie (West Highland White Terrier) dog, but I do like Doberman dogs as they are rather elegant when walking.
